Suburban Garage

20th Century single garage for 1:72/1:76 model cars. Can be used in dioramas to complement model car displays or for model railways etc.

The finish is stretcher brick bond with pan-tiled roof. The weathered garage doors are fixed. Windows can be made as opaque dummies or transparent. This model has a built in drain pipe and formed gutters. Interior decoration is not provided.

Suburban Garage Material Kit


  • 1 x 750 micron (0.75 mm)  A4 Grey Board.
  • 1 x A4 Sticky Backed Paper for Ink Jet or Laser Printers.
  • 1 x 99 mm x 210 mm x 250 micron (0.25 mm) Transparent Sheet.

You still need to print the model kits yourself and source adhesives.

Some kits require additional, standard, A4 white print paper that you probably already have to hand (not included).

DIY Material List

1. Garage Kit (.pdf fle)
2. 1 x A4 Sticky Back 1 Label Sheet (Recommended). Otherwise, 1 x 80g/m2 A4 Copier/Ink Jet White Paper.

3. 1 x 80g/m2 A4 Copier/Ink Jet White Paper

4. 1 x 0.75mm Grey Board*
5. Transparent Film for windowpanes (optional)
6. Double Sided Sticky Tape for transparent windows, if fitted
7. Paper Glue Stick, (for sticking paper sheets to board)
8. Quick Drying PVA Glue. (For grey board butt joints)

* Grey Board is a thicker form of cardboard, usually made from recycled material. Available from eBay.
